Matthew Carroll

Senior Director of Business Development and Operations

Matthew Carroll joined Ambient Biosciences as Senior Director of Business Development and Operations in November 2023, bringing over 20 years of industry experience across multiple technical areas including genomics, proteomics, and drug development as well as multiple functional areas including R&D, Operations, and Business Development. Prior to joining Ambient Biosciences, he was the Director of Product Care for Foundation Medicine (Roche) where he built and led a team of scientists dedicated to supporting the clinical genomics laboratories throughout the company. He has also served in various technical and leadership roles at Pfizer, Rubicon Genomics, and TakaraBio. Matthew received his BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Pennsylvania State University, his MS in Cellular, Molecular and Developmental Biology from the University of Michigan, and his MBA from the University of Dayton.
